Individual counseling for men, women, and adolescents

You care deeply. And something still isn’t working.

It matters to you how you live, how you love, and who you are becoming. Yet you may still feel anxious, ashamed, disconnected, or caught in patterns you don’t understand or know how to change.

Individual counseling offers a place to slow down, understand what’s happening beneath the surface, and begin moving toward greater freedom, wholeness, and connection.

When something isn’t working

You don’t have to understand it all before you begin.

Maybe anxiety or shame follows you into places where you want to feel confident and at ease. You may keep returning to a behavior you have tried to change, feel disconnected in relationships that matter, or find yourself at a transition without a clear sense of what comes next.

Sometimes the hardest parts of our lives are also the hardest to name. Therapeutic work creates room to slow down, pay attention, and become curious about the patterns, emotions, and stories shaping the way you live.

What counseling can help with

More awareness can make room for real choice.

Anxiety & Shame

Understand the fear, pressure, or self-criticism that keeps you guarded, overwhelmed, or unable to rest.

Unwanted Behaviors

Look beneath the behavior itself, understand what it has been doing for you, and develop a freer way of responding.

Relationships

Recognize the patterns you bring into relationships and learn to relate with greater honesty, courage, and connection.

Life Transitions

Make sense of change, loss, uncertainty, or a season in which the life you knew no longer fits.

Identity & Purpose

Explore who you are beneath expectations, roles, and old ways of defining yourself.

Faith

Bring spiritual questions, conflict, longing, or hurt into the work when faith is an important part of your story.

Individual Counseling for Men, Women, and Adolescents

You may recognize parts of your story here.

Every person’s story is different, but experiences of disconnection, shame, relationships, and change can take different forms across seasons of life.

Counseling for Men

You may work hard, show up for the people who depend on you, and still feel isolated or emotionally shut down. You may be carrying anger or shame, struggling with unwanted sexual behaviors or codependency, or trying to find your way through marriage, fatherhood, parenting, faith, and the desire to live with greater integrity.

Counseling for Women

You may be carrying anxiety or shame, losing yourself in codependent or difficult relationships, or navigating family tension, parenting, boundaries, life transitions, identity, purpose, or faith. You may long for a place where you can speak honestly, feel understood, and be known without shame.

Counseling for Adolescents

You may be watching your son struggle with anxiety, shame, family or peer conflict, unwanted behaviors, questions of identity or faith, or the pressures of growing up—and feel unsure how to help without pushing him farther away. Luke offers adolescents a steady, nonjudgmental relationship where they can speak honestly, understand themselves more deeply, and develop healthier ways of relating and responding.

You don’t have to do this alone

Some patterns are difficult to see from the inside.

You may not need another list of things to do or someone to give you quick answers. You may need a patient, honest relationship where you can slow down, tell the truth, and begin seeing your story—and the way forward—with greater clarity.

A guide for the work beneath the surface

Hi, I’m Luke.

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, I’m deeply interested in the stories we carry, the relationships that shape us, and the ways we become who we are.

I know therapeutic work not only as a counselor, but also as someone who has personally experienced both its challenge and its gift. I’ll meet you with patience, curiosity, honesty, and respect for the courage meaningful change requires.

In our work together, you can tell the truth, be known without shame, and begin making sense of where you are, how you got here, and how to move forward.

Is this work for you?

You don’t need a perfect explanation. You do need a willingness to be curious.

I work best with people who want more than a quick fix—people willing to look beneath the surface, tell the truth about what they find, and commit to the slower work of lasting change.

The goal is not to become someone else. It is to live with more freedom, connection, and integrity as the person you are becoming.
